Sometimes sounding Arabic, sometimes Turkish, the talents of ANATOLIA's individual musicians are highlighted in these recordings. Although the personnel of ANATOLIA changed over the years, the group's consistent focus on traditional material and traditional instruments was among its greatest strengths. In its blending of distinctive traditions of the East with elements of the West, the sound of ANATOLIA was and is unique.
